The fourth Hunan Science and Technology Fair was held in Changsha Red Star International Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 15th to17th. The fair brings together technological innovation from various regions ,industries and fields of Hunan. Exhibits of Hunan Zhongtai Special Equipment Co., Ltd was awarded the gold medal in this fair.At the fair, products from Hunan Zhongtai, such as bulletproof vest, ballistic and stab resistance vest,bulletproof plate, bulletproof helmet, anti-cut gloves, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and unidirectional fabric(UD), became a lightspot.
Kebao Mei, the Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party committee, personally came to Zhongtais exhibition area and appreciated the exhibits, asking for the quality, function and production of the products. Mei spoke highly of this series of products, and encouraged Zhongtai to make persistent efforts. He hopes that Zhongtai can promote its new products and achievements through the fair, and enhance its innovation capacity and brand awareness in the futhure
Nianci Yang is one of the founders and leaders in ultra high molecular weight polyethylene fiber disciplines,also he is the chief designer and chief technology implementers of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber and UD materials industrialization. In 1985, when he was in the Chemical Fiber Research Institute in the School of Materials Donghua University, Nianci Yang started the research of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber. In 1999, Nianci Yang, 58 year old then, with the dreams of industrializing UHMWPE fiber, came to Taiping village in Linli. In his lead, Zhongtairealized the industrialization from fiber to UD fabric,then to series of products, which made china the world'sthird country mastering the technology and ability to industrialize it. High performance fiber is the protective materialsof Tactical Gear ,widely used in the areas of Aviation, aerospace, shipbuilding,etc. Zhongtai's products, whose development is presided over by Nianci Yang, include ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber, Bulletproof vest, bulletproof helmet, high-strength sails and fishing nets, fishing lines,etc.
